Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of VibeCut, an AI-assisted video processing and editing service. They should be read with the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Retention Policy.

Last updated: 16 October 2026

1. Who provides VibeCut

VibeCut is an AI-assisted video processing and editing service designed to help users create and transform video content using automated editing tools.

Service name: VibeCut
Location: London, United Kingdom
Contact: vibecut.support@proton.me

2. What VibeCut is

VibeCut provides temporary, private processing of user-supplied media to create or assist with video edits. VibeCut is not intended to be a public hosting platform, social network, public gallery, archive, backup service or public file-sharing service. Outputs are intended to be accessible only to the user or session that created the job, subject to VibeCut's applicable access controls.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use VibeCut. Certain features may be available without registration, subject to usage limits and applicable access controls.

Where account registration is available, you must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not share your account credentials, attempt to access another user's jobs or outputs, or bypass usage restrictions and security controls.

4. Your content and permissions

You keep whatever rights you already hold in content you upload. You give VibeCut a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, analyse, transform and otherwise process that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and operate the service, comply with law, and address abuse or security incidents.

You must have all rights, permissions and lawful bases needed to upload and process the content, including any necessary copyright, privacy, image, voice, data-protection or other rights relating to people appearing in the material. Uploading content does not transfer responsibility for that content to VibeCut.

5. Prohibited use

You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you must not upload or use VibeCut for illegal content, child sexual abuse or exploitation material, non-consensual intimate content, unlawful threats or exploitation, terrorist content, malware, privacy violations, impersonation abuse, or material that infringes intellectual-property rights.

6. Automated safety and security checks

VibeCut may automatically inspect filenames, prompts, links and media; run malware and explicit-content checks; reject, quarantine or delete files; restrict access; and apply other technical controls for security, service integrity, abuse prevention and legal compliance. Automated classifiers are imperfect and are not a determination that content is lawful or unlawful.

We may suspend or terminate accounts, refuse processing, disable access to a job or output, preserve limited information where lawfully necessary, and make reports to competent authorities where required or appropriate under applicable law.

7. Private job access

VibeCut is designed to protect job status, uploaded media and generated outputs through session-based or account-based access controls, where applicable, together with job-specific access restrictions.

Jobs and outputs are not intended to be publicly accessible. VibeCut does not provide a public file-sharing service.

Any administrative access provided for legitimate operational, security or legal purposes is intended to be restricted to authorised personnel and is not designed for routine viewing of user content.

8. Temporary processing and retention

VibeCut is designed for short-lived media processing. Source media, temporary processing files and full-quality outputs are normally removed from active job storage shortly after completion in accordance with the Retention Policy. You are responsible for downloading an output before it expires. Limited account, security, abuse, audit and technical metadata may be retained longer where reasonably necessary.

9. Reporting abuse and legal notices

Use the Report Abuse page or email vibecut.support@proton.me to report suspected illegal content, serious abuse, copyright/IP concerns, privacy violations or account compromise. Do not upload or resend suspected illegal media as evidence. Give us enough information to identify the relevant job or material and explain the concern.

10. AI-generated or AI-assisted results

VibeCut uses automated and AI-assisted systems. Outputs may contain errors, omissions, unexpected edits or material that requires human review. You are responsible for reviewing an output before publishing, distributing or relying on it, and for ensuring that your use of the output complies with law and third-party rights.

11. Third-party services and links

VibeCut may rely on hosting, email, security, AI-processing and other technical service providers. If VibeCut permits you to submit a third-party media link, you are responsible for having permission to use the linked material and for complying with the applicable third-party service terms. VibeCut does not grant rights in third-party content.

12. Service availability and changes

VibeCut may change, suspend or discontinue features for security, legal, operational or product reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every upload, link, edit or output will process successfully.

13. Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or third parties; investigate suspected abuse; comply with law or a legal request; or enforce these Terms. We may act without advance notice where delay would create a security, safety or legal risk.

14. Liability and consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Subject to those rights, VibeCut is provided as a technology service and is not responsible for losses caused by content you were not entitled to upload, your failure to download an output before expiry, third-party services outside our control, or uses of an output that breach law or third-party rights.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, any mandatory rights or jurisdiction rules that apply to you remain unaffected.
